More on the simplifying and the simple things. I found this in 20th Century Art. It is simple, and yet so powerful. The composition and lines and lack of lines is just stunning. It is also strangely erotic. The eye follows the picture around and back around again, almost difficult to leave. If you look closely at the bottom left hand, you will see the hand falling into the blackness of the background, yet still visible, making the background a shadow, and dimensional. In fact, having looked at this long enough, the whole of it became dimensional.
A tribute to the simple, the black and white of it.
